FLORIDA!!!!!ALWAYS SUNNY SIDE UP!!!

Hi I'm in NW Florida. Wanted to say Hello. I'm about 2 hrs west of Tallahassee Fl...I raise Splash Cochin Bantams and silkies,
I'm looking for someone that raises Columbian Cochins Standard or Bantams, and some white silkie hens. Cochin babies.

Spring is almost here and I have a couple dozen baby chicks 1-2 weeks old. Cute but far from going outside.
I have a beautiful rooster who is looking for some ladies. Roosters get lonely too I would guess.
So what I would like is some pullets/hens. Not particular about breeds as long as they are LF.
Brown egg layers preferred.
Looked on CL with no avail. Somehow I feel that $25 for a generic chicken is not worth it. Most those selling don't have any idea what they have. A 1-1/2 year old chicken that lays eggs is not very descriptive.
Anyone within an hour or so of Ft. Myers, please let me know what you have to sell. Mixed breed is OK so long as it is young, healthy and will produce eggs.
I am just waiting for the chicks to grow. I also have some ordered for April. Lots of babies.
Thank you, fellow Floridians.

Anyone going to Inverness this weekend?

There will be quite a few BYC members. The Pampered Pullet and I will be selling supplies, cages and I will have some trios of Rose Comb Rhode Island Whites in the back left corner of the auditorium. I can bring stick on badges for anyone who wants one.

Hi! I'm in the Jacksonville area and am looking for a RIR rooster and would love to find some Easter Eggers. I have either RIR hens or Jersey Giants hens to trade or will pay cash. Thanks!!

I'm near you and have brown egg layers, but unfortunately the only ones I'm willing to let go are just chicks.

I'm in Dade city FL and would really love to find someone who breeds/ sells SQ tiny bantam varieties... like Serama, Seabright, old English etc. My little boy just did his first show with 4H this past weekend and being only 6 the little bantams are so much easier for him to handle.. we have a serama pair but they are not the quality/ type. Some of the kids showing seabrights did well.. I found those very pretty and similar curious tame personality as our seramas

By the end of March i should have something in the order of 100 chicks and i was looking for a swap to go to that is not too crazy far to drive. I'm thinking something like jupiter area and south would work. I have looked over the list of swaps posted around but I don't see any that are not north of Orlando :(...

does anyone know of any. Jupiter is about 2 1/2 hrs from me, or Ft Meyers is about the same...
