Hello everyone,

I have a dilemma where I can’t keep roosters and two of my littles seem to be cockerels. They haven’t crowed thus far but I’m pretty certain they’re male based on behavior and physical characteristics and so I must re home them to a GOOD home. Gold lace sebright and Cochin bantam Located in central Florida.

Rather recently I watched and heard one of them starting to crow (practicing crowing I should say). One of them is really aggressive and pecks me. They get aggressive with each other too and puff up their hackle feathers and fight.

For any of the BYC members that attend our farm swaps, for the month of August and possibly September we will be having both of our swaps at the Crystal River Mall Rural King. There is construction going on at the Dunnellon Tractor Supply Co. shopping center so we decided to hold both swaps at Rural King next month the ***2nd and 4th*** Saturdays.

I GPS it, it will take me an hour and 44 mins from Lakeland.. About the same as I drive to my fish club meetings in Holiday.. I'm pretty sure I'll be there at one of two swaps..

Years ago I used to drive to Jacksonville for a farm swap which is a 2 hour drive over. A nice ride.
