I too am thinking of re-homing my Roo. He is a good boy, very respectful of people. Never tried to turn on me or my family. Though, I only have 3 hens and he is just too much of a loverboy to them. So, I think he would be a great addition to someone who has more girls he can entertain.

He is used to guarding them all day while free-ranging. He is proud to find them food and is a good protector.

Like I said, I am in Plant City if anyone may be interested.

Thanks

Here's a picture that I took a few months ago. If anyone is interested, I can take a close up of him.

I'm in Spring Hill area address-wise but live closer to Masaryktown. We're on 5 acres 30-35 miles north of Tampa and 10-15 miles south of Brooksville. Please add me to the list, too.

Nava - I am following your list, and think it would be great to add what breeds people have and whether they sell chicks or fertile eggs. I would definitely rather buy fertile eggs that I can pick up rather than have them shipped, but I don't know what is available locally. Last year I bought 10 eggs from halo and got 9 beautiful chicks! This year I ordered eggs from Texas from a seller with a good reputation, and I think of 10 eggs, only 4 are developing.

that is a great idea,
