In fact I just got in my seed orders this week from Parks and Tomato Growers Company. That is one thing I adore about florida, the growing seasons. Not only can I plant my fall garden, but I can plant summer vegies again.
Transplanted tomatoes from pots into garden today. Today, DH spread horse poop and tilled old garden under for 2nd time. Will be planting tomatoes, peppers, yellow squash, zucchcini and beans, not sure what else. Being in Palm Bay I have well water and this summers drought has stressed my well, so have to be careful. My feathered girls recently trashed my herb bed, so starting over on thyme, parsley and some of my hot peppers. Will be added more basil and dill to garden and found my horseradish had vanished, so will try to find a replacement. My ground is so sterile I need more poop than girls can make.
We also have 2 grapefruit, a tangerine, orange, lime and small meyer lemon (had to replace ones lost in freeze). I don't care to eat graprefruit but the juice is awesome, rinds are good compost.

I can help you with that if you need poop bring a truck or trailer
Wish you weren't so far away, I'd take you up on your offer. Will have to make do with any free horse poop I find locally. Fortunately or unfortunately, I am on a small 80 X 110 lot, my garden is behind property on waterless "canal" right of way. Garden only about 10 ft wide but runs behind 20 lots so is 160 ft long. Big enough for the 2 of us, barely. DH start his cancer meds Wednesday (we don't know if it is chemo yet - he failed to ask VA) so it is probably best he doesn't have large garden to till.
I'm so glad you guys are giving me ideas for what to plant, although I usually wait a few more weeks. I can't wait to plant again once the girls are in their aviary instead of free-ranging in my garden. I definately want to put in strawberries, tomatoes, broccoli, carrots, and maybe squash. I got some basil, arugala, and walking onions from a friend, too. I need to order my seeds.
I've done garden boxes the last two years. This year I'd like to plant in my "back back" yard... about 1/4-1/2 acre. I'm looking for someone to till/disc it though. I'd like to plant eggplant again, and try some new stuff too.

Bet you can find someone to till for you on Craigslist. I want excess eggplants, can't seem to get them to grow and neighbor won't share from her only plant. LOL
Yup, if I can't find someone I know, I'll turn to Craigslist, thanks for reminding me. I have done eggplant from seed for two years now. I figured out that by the time I want to rip the beautiful plant out of the ground cuz there ain't no stinkin' fruit on it, they begin to grow eggplant. Then you have to wait some more for them to ripen. I'm the only one who really likes it, so I get most of it to myself
(Although DH & DD will eat it if I tell them too lol ).
BTW is there anyone close to Wesley Chapel that would be willing to hatch eggs for me? It's getting mightly tempting to get eggs from some BYCers, but I haven't got an incubator and I'm skeered that if I get one I'll be another egg-addict.
