Well my cockerel finally did it; he crowed for the 1st time yesterday morning while I was looking in the nest boxes for eggs (still no eggs lol) and I may add he scared the heck out of me! lol. So with that said, he is being picked up today @ 3pm

and he is going to a man's house with 8 hens no rooster (he's gonna be busy!!)

......sorry Floridachicken1958 he didn't wait until Jan!....


So out of my original 7 birds: 4 from the feed store - 2 roos, 3 from a swap - 2 roos!!...I have 3 "original" ladies left and 2 additions...5 ladies left....I added space to the run this past weekend and now have 65 sq feet with 5 birds...sounds like I need a new lady to add to the madness!! hehehe

It was raining constantly from Sat around 5pm until late last night.....and very, very windy. I had holloween decarations on my front lawn that belonged 4 houses down! lol

I hope this madness stops since I have to ride my motorcycle to work Tomorrow and thursday! lol

Well...thanks for the rain...some of you must have managed to send some up here. I has been a nice slow steady drizzle all day! Yay! I hope it doesn't rain for your motorcycle ride. I hate riding in the rain.
