Hate to say it,but they are both hot hens(think flavor of the week!!!). With the FBCM roo, the splash amercana roo and the BO EE X roo, they just swap for flavor of the week. WILD GIRLS!!!! All of them do it, crazy girls.....

But need to pen with the splash and get some blue egg layers. Then pen with the Maran to get some dark olive.

Been having an awful time with Sticktight fleas on all my fowl since moving to the new farm. They are driving me nuts. They don't die like reg fleas and even when dead stay stuck on. I have been using Frontline on the birds, seven dust in the coops after removing all bedding, spraying the chicken yard with seven spray..... It's a battle.

Hi newbie neighbor!!

I don't have any of those breeds. I adore my production reds. Very reliable layers. But come to think of it, all of mine are steady. Five girls give me four eggs every day and I don't eat eggs. It's getting out of hand and yet, I need more chickens!!!
