I had no idea there were so many different types of chickens - and so many different types of eggs!! My experience with eggs has been limited to what we buy at the supermarket. Do all chicken eggs taste the same? Is there a breed of chicken that lays "better" eggs than all the rest? (I dont even know what would make them "better")
And what's the kind they sell in supermarkets (so I know what I'm eating, other than just "white eggs")
Did you make a special omlette? Baby egg from a baby chicken.I was going to post this last night but my camera wouldn't cooperate.

Congrats!! You will be raising your own line this fall!! You need to post some pics of those cockerels too. Have they filled out yet?? ....stan
I would send that bigun' back to the breeder and demand he take him back!! Don't think anyone has been penalized for being too big. Glad to hear they are growing well. I might need to come get one. My picks don't seem to be turning out as well. ......stanStan, They have filled out a lot, they are huge. Every day they get bigger and are the biggest I own. Question, I'm not sure what the SOP says on size but one roo is bigger that the others and thats the one I want to keep. He also has the best comb.
