Rest in Peace 1950-2013
I am back in chicken! After my first attempt at chicken herding ended with respiratory illness, I decided to hatch shipped eggs.
Here are some clear pics of each and every one! Their mug shots are below. I am once again a chicken warden.

These are show quality bantam cochins. In about 8 weeks I may be offering some roos if anyone is interested.
Thanks for the support in Florida!

Thanks for the info...if for some reason he gets a run on his chickens..due to my high recommendation I'll be posting agin & I'll also keep the Americauna hook up in mind! I'd like to get my girls from the same place...mixing my 3 & these additions will be complicated enough!

). I want to get 3 more, but at this point have no idea where to get 3 from... I'd love young pullets, but I don't know how to go about finding some locally. I'd like a good layer or two and a fancy pretty girl (polish, showgirl or silkie). I don't need show quality birds - just happy healthy birds... I can't hatch eggs bc I can't have roosters where I live and would have to rehome the DAY they crowed... and I don't want to wait for chick season at the local feed stores to buy sexed chicks bc that's a loooooong wait.
