Hi there,
I'm in Palm Beach County, and am also new with 4 sex link (feel free to jump in and let me know what the heck that means!) chicks purchased from the feed store yesterday. I had a chick-n-hutch hanging around from rehabbing an injured homing pidgeon last year, and saw those cute faces and here I am!
Have had pet goats, a rooster who hung out with the dogs, cats, birds, fish, but have spent most of my adult life caring for show horses since my back crapped out and am unable to ride anymore.
If anyone has any tips for keeping these guys healthy in this environment please feel free to share...I know it's been a challenge keeping horses in the jungle, I figure maybe the chickens will have it a little easier!
Nice to meet you all,
Orchidchick
