Thank you for all the friendly responses! Our internet service went down shortly after I posted...sorry for the delay!

Well, I did it. I ordered the little peepers. Anxiously waiting for the email telling me when to meet them at our post office.

Hubby just built a nice sized brooder out of plywood and wire (he is so handy). We've got the lamp, the feeder, the waterer, chick starter, pine shavings and..... Oh, I've got to get a thermometer! DOH!

I wouldn't hold my breath for an e-mail from the hatchery...didn't they give you a ship date?

We're near Middleburg. Our baby son is a little under the weather, but thanks for the invite!

I ordered from a Florida company (Double R) over the phone. She said they would send an email with the shipping date. They were having computer issues. If they forget, our post office said that they would call first thing in the morning.
