Florida Sunshine Classic, Jan. 8-9, Lake City, FL. Fairgrounds

A few photos from the show. The kids wouldn't let me stand still long enough to take many.

C-Mom with the BYC banner and her cages. I should have got one of her Hilltop Farm banner that you can see a piece of to the right. It's very nicely done.

Now all I have to do is find some for her! Or bantam White Wyandottes which she chose as backups. Another bird hutch to build. Another child to remind (constantly) to go do her bird chores. Another.... Do I really want to do this?

Are you the one who had those GORGEOUS splash and blue orpingtons? I could not take my eyes off of them.

I have the large dark Brahmas, and I love them, but I think I could love those orps. They are pretty mellow birds, too, right? You must have won something, huh?

It was great seeing old friends and meeting new friends. I know so many people all across the country from the Brahma club alone, and now I'm meeting people little by little from BYC. Chicken people rock!

Who wanted Cindy Kinard's Number? She is a great woman and does a lot of work with the kids. She is the National district leader for the youth for the southeast. I will email her and ask her if it is okay to post her number here. I don't think she would mind, but I should ask anyway. She could also give you Hunter's info when you talk to her.

Looks like 1 of your marans is a little boy. Marans tend to show huge combs and wattles early.

I see him too....the one with the little pink comb and wattles poking through.....
They are too cute though.....

with Bama Chickens Orppingtons. I wish we had met... you have a new fan for sure.

The silver seabrights were also a favorite of my husbands. I personally wish I could have taken home dozens of porcelain d'uccles. They were so PRETTY!

Thanks again guys!

Here's Freckle Face Farm going home with one of our lavenders... LOVE the pink basket!

That is a super cool chicken transporter there....Where did you get it?
My husband loved of all things the Malays! They are scary looking to me!
I was disappointed though that I didn't see any Black Langshans there or Delawares.....

I thought those game birds were incredible! Chickens with muscles!!!! I really think I may have to have a special pen for those one day.....after I get my silkies set up...oh and the pen for the seramas that I want.....I better see how much land I have. LOL
