Florida Sunshine Classic Poultry Show, Sat. Jan. 7th, Lake City, FL

At our local livestock auction sellers bring their chickens in throw away pens so the buyer can take the chicken home. How will that work at this event? If I want to buy some chickens should I bring some pens or will the seller usually have individual pens that go with the chicken?

I will have a lot of different sizes of cages for sale or you can bring your own.

This will be my first show and I'm super excited! I have some questions though. What time do people start getting there for selling? Will they all be in one area? Lol guess I have too much free time today.

Well I'm undecided. I'm thinking about bringing only the ones that are spoken for, but I really need the space.
So far I've decided to sell

BLRW and LF Salmon Faverolles cockerels 2-4 months
WTB Japaneese pullets already laying
Blue Ameracuana rooster
Bantam frizzled buff laced polish rooster

Exchequer Leghorn chicks
Wheaten Amerucana cockerels
Serama, WCB Polish, showgirl and silkie chicks

I am in need of a silkie or showgirl hen or two. I have too many silkie roos and they only seem interested in the silkie hens.

we usally get there when the gate opens we spend an hr taking care of our birds (feeding and cleaning them up before showing) Then we set up and sell all day til either it gets too cold or gate closeing time.
