My blocks are not done and I'm getting nervous about the deadline. I got sidelined caring for my son and daughter who both had the flu...and my hubby went out of town for two weeks work in Minnesota. Now, I have to hustle to get my blocks done. Yikes!

The good thing is they are only 6 inchers so they go pretty quickly once they are started. Hope everyone is better now.

Same here. I wish I had my grandmother's rural route carrier. She could put what she thought it would cost to mail something in a fruit jar lid with her package and he would mail it and settle up with her later if there was a cost difference. In all those years no one ever stole the money from her mail box either. Oh, for simpler times.

I stopped by my mother in laws yesterday to check on her (she has been ill, nothing serious cold type thing) anyway she was showing me her squares, and I was so impressed, she has some aweome flowers, and even more impressive is she didn't have a pattern at all and not just flowers in the round, things like calla lilly, and delphinium, anyway not all of her backgrounds are green so I wanted to check and see if anyone was going to have an issue w/ that. If you will either post here or pm me and I will make sure the ones you get from her are one of the few that do have green backgrounds, or trade out w/ one of the other green backgounds in place of hers.
