Flower Power, winter has been to long crochet swap, closes March 10

I have all of my flowers finished and 19 of my squares complete around them. Just working on the last 19 squares. I'll need to finish up 3 or 4 a night but that should be fine. I was camping in Yosemite over spring break so I got a little behind.

On a fun note, I made some of the squares while I was in Yosemite enjoying spring.

Got more flowers today from smkchick, and cheekyckick aka Rosie. They are great you guys are going to love them.


smkchick, tell Rosie her colors were like a rush of spring when I opened the bag, it has been dreary grey rainy here for days and her colors were awesome.
Your sunflowers have a cool stitch I need to look closer at and learn. They are all great little flower squares.

Still haven't seen the ones from Donna yet, I have been afoot this week my husband has been using my car, so I hope to see them soon, she was the one that was going to embroider her flowers on. She sent a note w/ hers to her sister (my MIL) so excited to be included in this swap, she wanted to thank all of you for letting her "play" even though she doesn't have a computer.

Oh well, now I know where to look for the future swaps So two questions: will you begin another right away or just take time off for summer and will you all post finished pics? Thanks for letting me peek on in your crochet party. Btw: Althea, I think you posted the white daisy on the green background square, I have an old (thrifted) doily made with Tr that looks very very similar, except . If I ever figure out the pattern and how to make in in a square, I'll be in!

I probably will not host another one through the growing/garden season. Just couldn't help squeezing one more in before the garden won out. I sure hope someone else does so I can live vicariously through them. lol
