Flowers in quail coop?

Hi All,
So Last night I made a home depot trip, and bought flowers, planning to put them in my quail coop.

I got
Snapdragons
dianthus mix
Yellow pansies
White pansies

ARe they safe to put in their coop?

The quail will destroy them, that I know for certain. I don't know if any of those are toxic to quail, though.

All that's survived in my pen so far is the northern cedar branches I've placed in there. They take a long time to dry out and I'll replace them when they do. I had a sage bush that lasted about 10 days before they turned it into bare twigs sticking out of the ground

I would love to find a safe plant that isn't eaten that I can grow in there for ground cover for them. Cedar branches are all I've found so far.

I don't have experience yet with quail .. but I want to have some plantings in my chicken coop and found EdibleAcres on YT who protects plants in chicken run in different ways... many many videos you might check out for ideas on his YT channel.

I’m not sure about the rest, but I know snap dragons are very toxic. For my chicks I can usually grow tomato plants in their coop without trouble, not sure if it’s try same for quail though.

I don’t know for sure but what about some herbs I don’t which ones are safe for quail just an idea

Basil dill mint nasturtiums I just looked it up and apparently this is all safe for quail hope it helps

I can't speak for quail but in my experience chickens won't eat what's toxic. I have a ton of lilies in my run, which are toxic to them. They scratch under and around them and enjoy the shade but that's all. If birds ate toxic plants they would soon be extinct, IMO.
