Fluffed up Parakeet

my little parakeet has been fluffed up a lot lately. She does fly around but is unusualy fluffy. She bites and won’t let me hold her so I can’t take her to my vet! What do u guys think?

Have you wormed her recently? Might be an idea to, even if she never goes outside, just as a precaution. I know sitting fluffed up a lot can be a symptom.

Um I haven’t wormed her. But she never goes outside. Only in the cage to sit in the sun

I can’t really add much but I just love cockatiels so much and Buggies are pretty high I guess

Does she tip her head back and sleep? Does she look sick? Or just cold?
