Call me weird, but one of my favorite things about chickens are their fluffy fluffy butts. It's like they're wearing bloomers under a fancy dress of feathers. And then, when they go and do that ridiculous dance while they scratch for food, I can be entertained for hours. So, if you are as crazy as me, share your favorite fluffy butt or two from your flock. I'll start us out with my mama hen Kitty, a Cuckoo Marans, who is mastering the art of using her fluffy butt as defense to keep all the yummy treats to herself and away from her friend Donna, my Easter Egger.

My wife thinks it's the funniest thing when the wind blows their tailfeathers up and their butts practically double in size!

I just love it!
