fluid in crop

Our 9 yr old Arucana(sp?) is sick. She stands around puffed out, hardly eats, and moves slowly. This is the 3 day now she has been this way. We caught her yesterday and her crop was full of this brown liquid which we massaged out of her. We then gave her 3cc of amoxicillin orally yesterday and again this morning with no improvement... The rest of the flock, 4 chickens 12 guineas , and our turkey appear to be fine. Any suggestions or help? Thanks

Hmmm...seems you're being a bit harsh on everyone. This is the first time I've even been on the forum today - not that I could help anyway. Maybe the person who COULD help you hasn't logged in? 9 years old is VERY old from what I've gleaned off this site. Anyway, if you're gone - bye. And if not, I hope you find your answer.

So Sorry you aren't getting a reply. It's very easy for a post to get lost with so many of us on here. While you wait for reply why not try searching in the upper right hand corner? Put in "Fluid filled crop" and lots of topics come up. I'm sorry I don't have any answers for you, I haven't experienced this yet.
