Yeah my chicken hens could still get up with both clipped tooIf I cut both sides of the Muscovies they can still get into things. Clipping just one side sure throws them off. (I can’t help but chuckle the first time they try to get up on the steps)

Yes..Determination wins if they really want out..When I clipped just one wing on my Muscovy she could still get over the wooden fence once I clipped both she couldn't maybe it was mind over matter with her. this past fall I only clipped one wing and came home from town to one standing in the driveway she had somehow flown over the fence so she got clipped again.
Woa, mine give up really quickly. Like, as in the first cartwheel/faceplant.When I clipped just one wing on my Muscovy she could still get over the wooden fence once I clipped both she couldn't maybe it was mind over matter with her. this past fall I only clipped one wing and came home from town to one standing in the driveway she had somehow flown over the fence so she got clipped again.

I'm not sure?Just clip one wing per bird right? Or should it be both
