Once mine learned she could not fly, she no longer tries to fly over even though her feathers are grown out.

If they do bleed then it does go away! Similarly if they break their toenail, it normally stops bleeding by itself. If not I'd use some cornflour to stem the flow (but only on toenails and feather tips IF NEEDED) hope this helps
