Foamy eye

For foamy eye, I have used ACV in their water 2 tabs to a gallon. At this strength, it doesn't burn and helps clear it up. I've used VetRX before but not for foamy eye. Did you see it recommended for this?
Hello Miss Lydia and thank you for your reply. This is where I seen VetRx being used for foamy eye in ducks. I also agree ACV is amazing stuff for treating health issues. https://thecapecoop.com/foamy-eye-disease-ducks/

Thank you I have never heard of using it for foamy eye before. Do you know why your duck has this? Sometimes they can get debris in their eye and can cause irritation. I have seen it in a few of my Muscovy and most of the time it's taken care of once they clean out their eyes real good with water and ACV. If you use the VetRx let us know what you think. I know Vet RX is good for eye worms which thankfully I have never had here.

Of all the different issues that can cause foamy eye, I am not really sure what brought it on? I am very religious about making sure they have clean water to bath in and drink. Strangely I have kind of noticed she don't really like to swim around in the pool like the other ducks. I can pick her up and put her in the pool and she jumps out right away, not sure what is up with that?

I was curious to see if anyone has used VetRx to help treat foamy eye, it sounds like a natural cure all for many things.

That maybe her trouble just not cleaning herself very good dunking her head etc. I have seen it in Muscovy because they just don't have the same love for the water as other breeds. Try the VetRX and hopefully it will clear it up. What breed is she?

She is one of our Pekin/Rouen mixed hens, she is one of six that we incubated this spring from our own fertile eggs.
Thanks again for your help, I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day. :)
