How many pounds of fodder should I provide for 14 chickens? I live in SC and had to order seeds from different suppliers. I'm still trying to figure out protein and calcium ratios.

It comes out to be 85 grams per chicken that I’m feeding but what works for me might be different for your birds. I would feed a little less and see how you like the look and of corse the taste of your eggs. If I feed any more than what I am they will start to get poopy rear ends don’t want that. I’m doing mine in 10”x20” flats with 2 cups of hard red wheat, 2 cups of black oil sunflower seeds and 1/2 cup of lentils. I grow it for 7 days it’s pretty dense so I cut it up for them and I feed 2 flats per day.
