. I don't know about one though, I see an embryo and it jumped when I candled one time but I don't know if my eyes were playing a trick on me. The blood vessals thined but they are still there.

Really?? Just candled again and I see just about 2 vessals

Instead of using light candle, have you ever done water candling?
I find this to be more accurate,safer, and shows you how strong the chick is.

I have tried it once but it was to see if chicks are dead after day 24. Wouldn't it drown the healthy ones when water enters pores though?

First chick out! He was shrink wrapped and pipped at the wrong end and still got out himself! Woo!
