. I don't know about one though, I see an embryo and it jumped when I candled one time but I don't know if my eyes were playing a trick on me. The blood vessals thined but they are still there.

Any blood vessels means its still alive

Instead of using light candle, have you ever done water candling?
I find this to be more accurate,safer, and shows you how strong the chick is.

I have tried it once but it was to see if chicks are dead after day 24. Wouldn't it drown the healthy ones when water enters pores though?
