Food and water amounts for sick/recovering rooster

So, he is now eating much better (albeit mostly scrambled eggs, a few of his All-Flock pellets and some scratch) -- and drinking without me having to "force" him -- IF I hold the water (with Rooster Booster added) up for him. He is exploring a bit more, too.

I cannot find any signs of hidden injury anywhere.

This morning, he crowed for the first time since he's been sick. However, his crow is NOT normal at all -- which is normally quite loud and clear. Additionally, I notice that he doesn't stretch his head straight up like normal to do it, but rather contorts kind of oddly. I have attached a short video so that you can see what I am talking about.

His poos are still a bit watery -- and less than what I would consider "normal"

Just interested in your opinion, and if you think there is anything else I should be doing.
Does his neck feel weird?

Not particularly -- I mean, no more weird than any chicken neck. His crop doesn't feel hard or anything, either.
I am worried about how he tosses his head like that. That can not be good. Best of luck!
(I know you are a little concerned about that too, I am just saying. not trying to be obvious or rude :D )

Yes, it's odd -- and NOT typical for him. More, his crow does NOT normally sound like that. Yet, there's absolutely no sign of a respiratory infection.

can you post a video of his crow next time he does it? I think his throat might be damaged and uncomfortable to swallow. I am not sure though

Thank you for the video, he's a handsome boy!

He may have suffered a neck/muscle injury when he was attacked, hard to tell. I've seen similar neck movements when a bird is trying to adjust their crop.

I would check his crop every morning before he's had anything to drink/eat just to make sure it's empty/flat.
I would also give him 400IU Vitamin E and 1/2 tablet B-Complex daily. He's eating egg, so that will help with the uptake of E. I would give the vitamins for a week and see if that helps.

He does "look" brighter within himself than in the previous posts - it's nice to see him standing and crowing.
