Have you checked all feed and farm stores in your area? My county co-op sells food grade DE for $32.95 for 50#. It is used VERY sparingly so if you cannot find it in your area and can get 10# for that price with free shipping, it's probably okay. I just finished a 50# bag I've been using for the last two or three years and I averaged from 35-45 birds at any one given time. I use a parmesan cheese container, load it up and the holes sprinkle it pretty well.
