I had avoided seeing this documentary because I heard it would make me "vegetarian." I should have ignored the ignorant advice. I watched it tonight via Netflix and I will say I will continue to eat meat. I will, however, only buy from a local farmer here in Tacoma. I have a small veggie garden and will try to increase my visits to the farmers markets. I am also happy that I have my little flock for eggs and inadvertently bought feed that is soy free, corn free, and gmo free. I asked the guy at my feed store what's wrong with soy. He said he didn't know but it was more expensive. I bought it anyway because I am fortunate enough to afford it.

I wanted to put this post on the feed section or managing your flock section but I feel that this topic could fall into a political category. I know this film has been discussed before but looks like it's been over a year. I'm just feeling deeply moved right now.

    Thank you [IMG]
