Food Quirks

All my stuff is normal.
Aww, c'mon now. I'll bet there's something you like that's not necessarily in any chef's recipe repertoire.

Peanut butter and dill pickle sandwiches. Must be Claussen pickles.
Okay, I usually go for straight up plain yellow mustard on my dill pickle sandwiches but this sounds like something I'd be intrigued to try. Gotta ask though, why particularly Clausen?

You lost me,
A chef's recipe repertoire is like a musician's song repertoire. Their catalog of standards. The faithful tried-and-true never fails.

Have you never put your own spin on a dish - whether out of boredom or necessity - and thought, "hey, that's pretty good. I'm gonna make that again even if no one else likes it this way."?

Being a Newfoundlander we have some great food! Salt Beef and Cabbage boiled with potatoes and carrots. Salty yummy!

Salt fish boiled, and fat back pork fried and the grease drizzled over the fish and boiled potatoes, oh and don’t forget the ‘brewis’ (pronounced bruise) which is hard bread (hard tack), soaked in water till soft, warmed and also drizzled in the fat back pork grease 😊 mmmm salty and greasy! Yum!

Yep great food!

Nope, food is just something to fill the hunger gap for me, I am just as happy having a slice of homemade bred toasted for supper.
