Oatmeal made with old fashioned rolled oats. Add: Cinnamon, raisins, and bananas. Cook until gluey. Add some flax seed meal and chia seeds.

Other fruit instead of raisin and/or bananas: blueberries, sour cherries.

I'm on a self-designed program of eating it 5-6 times a week to lower my cholesterol.
Good for you! And good luck, too.
Do you know yet if it's working?

Milk with dill pickle juice
Lime on roasted sweet corn with butter.
Yeah. Now see, that's something I never would've thought to try and exactly the sort of thing that belongs in this thread. Thanks for sharing.
... and actually the lime on roasted corn does sound worthy of a try at least once.

jalapeños in cottage cheese is nasty.
When my children were young I encouraged them to try new things. When we were invited to someone's home for a meal, if they didn't care for anything on their plate, they were taught to say, "that's very interesting". Anything that might hurt their hosts and they would hear about manners from momma on the way home.

That said, I do not care for jalapenos and don't think this combination is for me.
