Food recommendations!

I use Purina Layena Pellets and ocassionally Purina Layena Omega 3. I know it's probably not non-GMO but it works well! The pellets work better; the chicks don't waste it as much as crumbles.

We ordered pullets but ended up with nine and one rooster. Six of the hens are laying, three americaunas haven’t yet but I expect soon (the layers are sexlinks). I’m curious though, as we didn’t expect a rooster I’ve been feeding layer feed. I do put out oyster shells and have occasionally spotted a hen partaking. With only one rooster I hadn’t thought about switching to an all flock but wondered if I could mix some into the current feed? They use the grandpa’s feeder with free access.

I was told to do scratch grains and layer food for my mixed flock. But on another thread they said scratch grains is candy... so would layer feed and flock raiser be a better combination?
