Food Scraps?

Its a classic story of a government looking like they're doing something when really its just an inconvenience on the local farmer.
Those companies selling the scavenged bone meal will still sell it. However the government gets to be all busybody chasing down the local guy who isn't buying big farm eggs. Egg lobby wins, people lose.

Nice to see that the UK and US government aren't all that different at all.

Same thing with the complete ban on poultry from the Asian regions. We still import tons of food processed there, and tons of poultry products, but so the government can look like it cares or does something to prevent the spread it cracks down on local farmers and people who import eggs or live birds from clean sources.
I mean how on earth does the government think it will stop migratory birds and non poultry birds who carry the disease?
Stupid stupid stupid, but the big tasteless egg lobby and chicken conglomerates win again.

People need to take their food back into their own hands.

I know what you mean for about a year now I've been raising my own chicken for their eggs an this Easter my wife said go to the store and get some white eggs to color let me tell you there is some big difference in taste I don't think I'll buy store eggs again

I am planning on trying to breed a Easter Egger with the sweet, docile, great mothering instincts of the Silkie, or other breeds, don't really know yet. Anyone think the idea will work out?:)

I was buying things to color eggs for Easter and then I notice, there are eggs in the bag, and he said that they are easier to color than brown, barred rock eggs, I was so ashamedXD, they are like pale yellow

. Not eating those eggs any time soon.

Well your chickens will enjoy them, yellow yolks and all!

I used to buy white eggs to color for Easter, because I thought the brown or green/blue eggs wouldn't color right. But after trying it, I discovered that those eggs are more beautiful when colored than white eggs! Just leave them in the dye for a longer period!
