I would also add in maybe to switch the red bulb to a white light if you can't lower the heat (a 75 watt bulb can suffice)

Putting bobs under a white light ,in place of red sure way to get them pecking even more !!!!!!!!!

Bobs will go after any blood.....once a toe bleed or a feather they will keep pecking at that spot........like to give you more info ,but you need to listen...some advice i see on here will hurt rather than help.

Keep bobs by themself for sure.....less daylight helps ,red light for heat then 8 hr of daylight will help.

You are only saying this because another poster did. I ONLY use white lights. NO RED LIGHTS. I have raised bobwhites without pecking problems.

I have had bobwhites peck under white light before. I think the red light works better. Bobwhites are aggressive no matter what, the bright light just amplifies your problem. And I do not just agree to what other people say, it seems you think this about me. Just so you know I'm not a monkey. I know a little bit, and don't follow people around agreeing like a mindless stick. While I respect his opinion I think for myself too you know.
