The feet seem extra curled and flat. And it appears to be unable to move either leg. It’s been rocking side to side using its wings but that’s about all it’s done.

That's pretty much what I was assuming. If it couldnt move its legs it couldnt push the shell apart once it zipped.I would give it a few more hours to see if it straightens out, but chicks that need assistance hatching usually have problems for reasons. This one doesn't look good, so you may want to be prepared to cull the poor little thing.
It can take up to 24 hours from pip to zip. Sometimes an assisted chick will be fine, but most have problems. That's pretty much what I was assuming. If it couldnt move its legs it couldnt push the shell apart once it zipped.
There's one or maybe 2 more eggs in the incubator in the same state. Zipped but not hatched, zipped long enough for the chick's down to start looking fluffy thru the zip crack.
Poor thing. I would cull. It's going to suffer before passing away otherwise.I just got a high humidity alert, so I figured I'd burp the incubator and grabbed it to see.
It seems to have no ability to move its hips or hocks. I couldnt gently move either leg to point down or forward at all. Its not the down glued together either, it just seems to have no mobility.
I'll give it to morning then if no change I will cull. That'll still be under 24 hours.Poor thing. I would cull. It's going to suffer before passing away otherwise.
