For a walk in coop, how would you put the door swing?

Yes..My sweet Husband thought of everything..Its more barn style than Coop...I'm in heaven..

My Coop door swings out and is cut into two sections like a Barn door. My Husband built a screen door that swings in. That way no Chickens can ever push past me...

mines kinda the same but a little more different looking, check it out-

My coop’s entire front opens up in 2 giant swinging doors(though since it is slightly raised and the doors are SUPER heavy we have to prop them up on rocks when they swing out to prevent breaking the hinges.

If I could have changed one thing about my setup, it would have been to replace our door with double doors. We talked about doing that a lot over the years, but never seemed to get it done.

one used to swing in until in the middle of winter an almost year old cx died in front of it sitting up.. couldn't move her in the deep litter with the door

Hey, how are ya doing? I was off for awhile....had a tough death in the family that took a lot of the wind out of my sails, and have had a few health issues besides. But I'm like a fishing bobber - unless I get pulled totally under, I dance around on the surface, content in the sunshine!

I'm doing ok. Got some rough news at work yesterday, so not exactly happy with life right now, but hey, it's just work...

It's called a Dutch door, I plan on using one for my brooder room.

My coop doors are dutch and open out,
but coop is inside a large shed with a door that opens in,
best of both worlds.

My shed coop has a regular exterior house door that opens in to “my” part of the coop - about 5x10. The wall that separates my area from the girls has a Dutch door that opens out. I can open the top to toss in treats or the whole door to get inside. The girls all try to get out to my side any time I give them a chance, to peck at any scratch and food I have spilled.
