For all faiths that believe that God is good. Praise Report.

Debi,
You know my situation, and for almost a year, we have made it on only one income. Things would look rough, there were times I did not have 2 pennies and out of the blue, something would happen and the money would be provided.

Now that I am working again, even though I am making some money it is still rough, then out of the blue, I get called for an interview, much better job making more money. Second interview is today and I am putting my faith in God to get me through this.

You know of my faith.....on FB LOL! Other than that, in times of hardship, it is amazing how friends and families can group together and make the best of things when things are not looking good. Consider yourself lucky!

I, too, live on the edge with one earned income (hubby's) and mine and DD's income (SSI), and mounting medical bills as well. Pay them little by little and just do the BEST you can! Paying the bills for th emonth is more enpowering and it makes you want to do it again the following month!

God is definately amazing. He truly takes care of those who have faith. I am so grateful I have the comfort of Him in my life. I can't imagine how empty I would be without Him.

I've experienced the very same thing, Deb! I was off work for an entire year a few years back and I only got unemployment for a little part of that year and after that? Nothing. I wasn't even late on one bill and I still don't know how He managed it!

I kept getting electric bills that were for a zero amount or were only for $13 and that went on for some time. I even got a mysterious check from DHHR for low income families that hadn't received child support in their lifetime....something about the state getting an incentive amount from the federal level and they decided to spend it on people who didn't receive their child support(which I never have)...and I wasn't even enrolled with DHHR!!! I almost threw that away after I glanced at it because I wasn't expecting anything from the state....it was for $1000.

The Lord has done this over and over in my life and I am always amazed, grateful, humbled and left feeling very loved. He takes care of us if we only have faith...I wish the rest of the world that doesn't believe could understand how it feels to have Divine intervention in one's life and the peace that comes along with it. It's like floating!!!

It is really so strange to just keep plugging along and then one day sit down and do the math and that math just does not go in our favor, yet everything is paid. HOW did that happen??? If I didn't have faith, I would probably drive myself nuts trying to figure it out.

Counting blessings (even the ones I don't want) helps me focus on the positive.

Faith is knowing that everything will be OK....no matter what.....you don't know HOW, but you just know it will be OK.

Thanks, good people for brightening my day!

I have a job too, thankfully. I work for a public agency so I get benefits at no cost to me. No raises this year, however, the agency is contributing 3% of my salary to my CalPERS account. I have a VERY good job and it is a constantly comical place to be. Public transit brings out the worst, the craziest, the best and the funniest people.
