I wouldn't recommend clipping the beak. These are much easier and can be removed if the particular chicken decides to stop the behavior. They work by not allowing the chicken to focus well on anything directly in front of them. So they will not sit behind a preening chicken and grab a feather which eventually leads to feather eating then breaking the skin etc.
So far everyone is feeding, drinking, and even perching fine. It took about 5 minutes for them to get over them and stop scratching at them.
