I love the black hen.. My DH ask me "honey are you getting excited" LOL.. I was on the phone when I got to this page.. Your split white isn't split from what I see, its awesome.. is it for sale? The chocolate is also really pretty.. just wow.. I wish you lived closer so I could just pop in the car and come steel your ducks..

Ok I love the color of yours too... hmmmmm

I am not keeping the silver drake, I had two of them and you know where the other one went

We may have to wheel and deal. How old are the "crappy" drakes you have? I will hold the black hen, the silver drake and the chocolate baby for you.

So what do you think I will get from the silver pied and the blue fawn next spring? Will they possibly make some lavenders?

I really can't take any credit for the colors of my birds only that I feed them well. The newest birds I got were fairly scrappy looking except for the batch the black hen came in.

They are just what I am starting with for breeding and I keep working toward better birds. My "friend" doesn't care about color, only wants the extra males.

Here are my crappy males LOL.. shhhh don't tell them I said that.

These drakes are BIG, if your breeding for meat, they are your guys.

The below will eat out of your hand and has both blue and chocolate genes, but to much white for my taste.

Oh.. I may have more drakes as the year goes on, but right now I have some babies that I haven't sorted though yet. If you give me till spring I will know what I have and don't, maybe a bit before.

Um, I'm not sure, but I THINK that the birds in pictures 5 and 6 in the original post are Lavender, not Silver (the bird in pic 6 looks like Lavender Pied). IaJewel, am I right? In any case, that's one of the shades of gray I like...definitely on my future list. You both have some really nice muscovies.
