I dont mind mixed breeds. I have 1 mixed silkie and 4 sex link chickens and i love them as much as my BO's. so yep its fine with me. will the pekins be mixed to? I miss my white silkies cause they where beutiful. would there be a chance of white pekins or mixed?

So here's a question. If I happen to buy two ducklings and they turn out to be drakes are they going to get along or will they fight without any females around?

my males get along just fine. When I had my pekin, I got him what I thought was a female, the scovie, and they were both males. I had them over a year together before I even got a female, and they never faught at all.

I will. as you can see I am a hatchaholic as everyone else. Now I wont be able to sleep till april. The duck eggs will also give me time to wait on my video game which comes out on the 29th.

do you think I should get them the same day or a week before that way I can add water 3 days before hatch to the chickens and ducks?

really it's up to you, I would think it would be easier to get the duck eggs a week before, then you won't be opening up the incubator when the chicks hatch, and chilling the duck eggs.
