We lived in San Bernardino for 24 years, but the manager there wasn't very good at conflict resolution, to be nice about it. Needless to say I couldn' find anything out there and the owner of this place also owns the old house, so he offered us this one and paid to move us. I haven't heard about Huell Howser living here ,but that's cool, I watch him on PBS. I knew about Daggett because of family. Noone else knows where we are either. Calico Ghost Town is just 15 miles away,people know about there.

After San Berdo, you will find Daggett a nice respite from the hell of that place. The desert and it's weather takes some getting used to but after you establish friendships and have a sense of commuity you will love it. My brother's in-laws own Peggy Sue's 50's Diner in Yermo. Good food!
