I have one more set of eggs available for shipment 9/27 or 9/29 - mixed pen with blues, whites and lavenders (bearded and non-bearded) as mentioned in the first post.

This will likely be the last available shipment for 2008... we're starting to get a little too cold.

MY EGGS ARE HERE

Not a single dent or scratch on the box, the ladies at the Post Office are all acting like mother hens, their hearts melted and clucking, and sighing...

I've got at least three banty hens sitting in the nest boxes waiting on these and I'm thinking I'll give each hen two eggs so they won't fight over this clutch or the babies once they've hatched! There will still be 3 other hens sitting on the nests w/the main 3 hens, so these eggs will be getting double duty momma's...

I was a miserable failure at incubating & hatching, myself, so going to give these to the "experts" and will post pics of the proud hens tonight right after work!

Wonderful packing and labels on the box/eggs... and wonderful handling by the post office workers, too!

Well, now I've calmed down, I see a dent in one corner at the bottom of the box...but it didn't hurt a thing

My broodies are going to be in heaven...I'm still lifting them daily to take away their eggs though so I've color coded these or they'd be sitting on 14 eggs apiece again!
