I picked mine up at the PO this morning

Thankfully mine is NOT a secret hatch *wheew!*

Tori, my post master confirmed that they should have been here Tuesday. No one knows why they were held up, but everyone arrived in one piece! They are resting before I give them to their new mama

There was one egg not labeled, a little brown one, so would it be safe to assume that is from EmmyLou, too?

Do you know how long it should take the eggs to arrive? No call this morning, so they won't be here today.

I hope they didn't lose them, or squish them. I've only had 2 shipments of eggs ever and they managed to smash 14 out of 15 eggs in one box. And they were packaged well too. There was a note on the box saying they had to open it because contents were leaking and those contents were broken eggs. Duh. The outside had "Fragile - Hatching Eggs" written all over it.

I was wrong. They did come today! They just didn't call me first.

They're all unpacked and settling, getting ready to be put under my super broody Asil. Maybe once they hatch (fingers crossed!) she'll finally stop!

Yay!!!! So glad!!!

I now have one silkie that wants to go broody. I thoroughly torqued her out last night by taking her off the nest and boarding it up. The other girls have no problems laying where they can, but when she's in the nest box, she won't let anyone near her!

I am overwhelmed!! And the thing is, there are 3 more that should start laying any time now...

Please keep in mind that silkies DO go broody at the drop of the hat. I will keep you posted, but because of that I will not ask for payment until the eggs are ready to ship, ok? I am not comfortable (yet) selling my eggs before they are laid. But I don't mind promising them.
