French Copper Marans: Our French Copper Marans are hefty birds with great temperaments. They lay a gorgeous dark brown egg & the birds are stunning, all with feathered shanks. They do well with our extremely hot summers & cold winters. You will have a chance at hatching Blue, Black & Splash chicks. We acquired our stock in 2011 from a breeder who got their stock from the Wade Jeane line (Wade Jeane is the former President of the American Marans Club).

Olive Eggers: Olive Eggers are a mixed breed that lay gorgeous olive green colored eggs. For our Olive Eggers, we breed our Ameraucana hens to our French Copper Marans roosters. You will receive a mix of F1 & F2 hatching eggs unless we have other arrangements for you to receive all F2′s. We’re currently working on our F3′s, hatching eggs will be available in the Fall.
F1 = 1st generation Olive Egger. The hatching egg will be blue in color but will hatch an Olive Egger chick.
F2 = 2nd generation Olive Egger. The hatching egg will be olive green in color & will hatch an Olive Egger chick.
F3 = 3rd generation Olive Egger.
