FOR SALE/WANTED Stockton CA Pacific Poultry Breeders Show 1/28 - 1/29

I'd really like to take some of these young chicks to stockton, but need to figure out how to get a heat lamp on them, any ideas - maybe I can request cages on the wall - I'm renting 5 cages total

I use those hand warmers that heat up once exposed to air. You just rub them between your hands and they get really hot. I buy a huge pack of them at Walmart every year.

I have used a power inverter for my car, and was able to just plug a heat lamp in, only issue is at night it can be annoying to have a bright light in back of your car.

Hey Kim, If you want her parents too, you can have them.... I bought a triple stacker and the lady we bought them from gave us the Rabbits with it, but we only work with Netherlands, and could really use some cage space.

Kelsey I have several Lionheads, but mostly bucks. Story of my life. I can start peds, so no problem. I have some really nice pedigrees here to introduce and expand from. I like her! MINE!!!

Yes that's what I do in the car with a light or a heating pad. I think she meant during the show though? I'm not sure if there are outlets close to where the sale area is going to be.

Kelsey if I could afford them I'd take them.

I use a sock filled with rice that I microwave. It can stay hot enough to last a little over an hour if you allow room for the chicks to be able to move away of they need too.

I have this Orpington rooster available. He came from a breeder, i know nothing about his quality, but he is not from a hatchery & is friendly. He is very large. Approx 10 months old.

No Problem Kim, Baby is yours :)

But that offer goes for anybody else, If anybody wants a pair of Black Tort Lion Heads, of unknown age, but I think they are about 2-3 years old. They are friendly don't bite, and allow you to hold/pet them, but they are not Super Cuddley.... They make Cute Baby's and she is a very good mom. Let me know, and I will haul them along.

yep I was hoping to have them in a sale cage or my own cage but still pay the fee.

Have you already reserved your cages?

I'm pretty sure all reservations needed to be sent to Anthony Rose by the 13th of January in order to secure a cage in the barn. In the PPBA Premium Book it also states that all birds must be sold from cages provided by the show.

I am only doing presales. I'm coming from Washington and won't take up room in the truck with birds that aren't sold and just being picked up at the show. I do sale areas at WA, ID, and MT shows, but this is a hurry-up-and-get-there, hurry-up-and-get-back thing since I have class until Thursday afternoon and class on Monday AM,. For my sanity I need to keep it simple this time...
