I am not really sure how it works, lol. The pool man takes care of it. All I know is the pool is hooked up to a salt generator and at the beginning of the season a couple hundred pounds of pool salt is added then we are good to go. Its great, no smelly chlorine

Yes the pool stays sanitary and clean just like Chlorine.. I guess you can go online and look up how its works. I cant really explain it

I would think that the type of stuff that likes to infest pools wouldn't be able to survive in a salty brine!
