I think many people, including alot of people my age and younger, voted the way they did because they didn't want to feel racist or not "hip" CNN did the demographics thing last night and it was pretty neat.

Many people did say race was a factor but it was, by far, a positive thing. Not a negative thing at all, like many assumed. It seams many black and whites and hispanics voted for him because of his color, his coolness, his age and things that have nothing to do with running a country.

We are nervous because there is so much rhetoric in his speech that can't be backed up. It's hopes and dreams that we would all love to see but sucking money from successfull people do give to those who aren't is socialism and it leads to businesses taking their business elsewhere or going out of business altogether. It also leads to people who are satified where they are and have no desire to be successful. It also means the government will take a bigger part in hospitals and such. Do you recall the last time you went to the DMV? Imagine waiting in that line while suffering from a potentially fatal condition and being forced to see the next doctor in line....not the one that has years of experience dealing with your condition...That's why we're uneasy....more so for my kids than for me.

Well,for me, it is the fact that this man was a member for 20 years to a church that states on their web site that their leaders and members owed their allegiance to a country other than the USA. That doesn't set easy with my Spirit. I read this for myself,way before the controversy and it was still there after all the publicity.

My moms b/fs boss owns a small business that makes over $250,000. most of that money goes to christmas bonus's and salary. No more christmas bonus and slaary is going to drop so they can stay in business. Then the money that my mom makes and her b/f makes will go to people who dont want to work and drug addicts. I dont think that makes sence does it?
