what bothers me is the fact so many people that voted,I dont think have a clue what they were voting for other than race, Oprha was being interviewed last night and she said that when she went to vote early several "druggies"(her words not mine) were voting for the first time,and she asked them how long they had been in detox and they said like one week,and then oprha said "thats long enough,we'll take it"..again her words,so I wonder how much of the actual issues had to do with them voting,I am betting many of them dont have a clue what the issues are,not that they dont deserve an opinion,but lets face it,they usually have one thing on their minds..

I understand why people can get nervous when things don't go their way. It's a pretty natural reaction. I was nervous 8 years ago . . . well, in that case my fears were justified and exceeded, so that's a bad example. But I'd be feeling the same as everyone here if Palin had managed to slime her way into the white house this time around, so I do understand y'all while totally disagreeing.

I really don't put much stock on anything I see on u tube. Anyone can put anything on it. What I read was the actual web site designed by the church. I would not have believed it if I saw it on u tube either.

Things have been so bad the last 8 years that it's a wonder my DH still has his job. So many auto plants closing.... no bonuses... this year they cancelled Thanksgiving turkeys and the Christmas party....

I honestly believe that it can only get better, even if the Republicans had won.

It will be interesting to see, as 4 years go by, if things DO get better, if our economy thrives, if our relations with the rest of the world are strengthened, if we as a country strengthen and progress........ will you still be uneasy because it was not your choice?

I think we all FEEL itching to know what tomorrow brings. (we just express it in different ways) Wish we all had answers... but even us joyful one's know nothing of what tomorrow brings. It can go three way... terribly bad, extremely well, or just sit in a rut and go no where!

I think this is a good time to get to know our neighbors and really try to help one another as a community. My neighbors and I did not agree on the election what so ever... but we had a good laugh in line over the election. My neighbors WORK for their church which is not our denomination, and they know we don't attend regularly but they never make a mention of such a thing. In fact, yesterday they were kind enough to make a call on my husband's behalf for a job.

This world is full of GREAT people right next door to you... and they'll be there to lean on I think. I have faith in the people of this country... and they are who I would trust and rely on more so then ANY politician no matter who I voted for.
