For people ABX's, it is one year; so I would assume the same. And its not that at one year they stop working all together, they just start losing some of their potency by a certain percent. If you look up the pharmacological information for each med, it will tell you how much is lost over what period of time.
Can you give me an idea of what I should keep on hand for future? My chicks are young and I'm new to this but want to be prepared.
I would say if you get some amoxicillin and some Tylosin from tractor supply, you are covered for most antibiotic needs.
