4.5 x 5 coop with capability of dividing coop into brooder sections.



Inside showing ladder perch. Note that far right nesting box can be separated from main coop. Used cattle panel covered by 1/2" construction wire for flooring. Wish I could have gotten 3/4" to allow better droppings dropping.



Showing ability to open fully for cleaning. Note poop drawer opening and drawer (far left) for ease of disposing fertilizer in garden.



Hooped cattle panel run with 36" construction wire on bottom and chicken wire enclosing top. Easy to construct. Used 12" tent stakes to anchor cattle panels.

Looks great! Be GLAD you stuck with the 1/2 inch hardware cloth...it is the only thing that is truly predator proof- the only thing that will keep out weasels and rats, which kill chickens.

The chickens might enjoy the perch better if the 2 x 4 boards were turned the other way with the 3.5 inch side flat.
