Our ducks are not afraid of us, but definitely not cuddlers. After reading many posts and people mentioning picking up the ducks to look at an injury or just holding them in general, my daughter and I have been picking up 1 or 2 every day or every other day. They don't seem to panic as we come near them now to corral them, they still group together and it takes 2 people to surround them. But I think they realize that we aren't going to torture them. We always give treats after right by us and they always come back and eat right in front of us.

Queenie is protesting in one of the photos lol and my daughter is holding Gerald..he's very laid back.

Oh, the indignity...:gig

They may not like cuddles, but it's for their own good, right? And bribes surely must make the experience more palatable to them. :)

I was so afraid of them becoming afraid of us or hating us...and now I know as long as you are the food/treat barer, they forgive easily :lau
