Forgive my typos

Kind of off subject too, as I have told ya'll I dispatch so I'm picky about someone that says, I'm going up to Illinois!! Drives me crazy, but when my very blonde (no offense) but she is the ipitamy of the blonde jokes asked me where my husband was one day, I showed her a picture of a Peterbilt that he had bought and was going to pick up....here was her next question....

"Where's the back of the truck?"

There were 3 people in my kitchen at the time, we are all in transportation to one extend or the other, thought we were all going to die of laughter. I now had to explain the the "trailer" isn't a permanent attachment!!

I have never noticed your typos at all.

Maybe its because I read too fast. I don't pay enough attention to "catch" mistakes.
I have had A.D.D. since I was a kid. I could never sit still, or shut up for that matter. Whenever I post I have to re-read it like 10 times to make sure I actually typed what I meant to.

I have never noticed the typos either. Many times just as I am clicking submit I will notice something is spelled wrong,,,ooops, to late, gone. Don't worry about it, none of us are perfect.

Southern28Chick, don't even worry about it.

I tend to get things turned around quite a bit myself sometimes... never bad enough to where I was diagnosed, but enough to be frustrating at times.

As far as your typos... when most people read, they read for the enitre content, not word for word. For example, say I wrote "I went over their." You would know, just from experience, that I meant "I went over there." I used the incorrect spelling for the word "there" in the first sentence, but because of way it was used in that sentence, you would still understand what I meant.

Nobody is perfect; everyone makes typos whether they have dyslexia or not. So no worries, okay?

Trisha, no one wants to hurt your feelings..on purpose anyway. If I have said anything about the "shine" I was only razzing (sp?) you. I make typos all the time and that is after proof-reading! We mess with you because you banter back at us and it is all in fun. I think you are great and feel relaxed enough with you to banter with you. If it hurts your feelings, I promise never to do it again. You don't owe anyone an apology or an explanation. We like you just the way you are.

No if that was true then California would be considered the north. California fought on the union side of the war. Click this link: http://www.militarymuseum.org/CAandCW.html
The
civil war was the confederate states of america trying to secede from the union (USA). The confererate states of america had their own president, Jefferson Davis. They were ready to break off to form their own country.
It doesn't matter if your state fought on the confederate or union side of the war. Your state is considered north or south based on where it is on the map. If is was based on the war then California would be called the north and that would just be silly.

Re the directional thing, we always use the up/down reference. One time we went out to Denver with my mom & dad to see my mom's family, and my mom was giving us directions on how to get from the hotel to the place we were going, and she said "Go out Colfax to" whatever street it was. Dumb us, we have no idea which direction is Out, so we just picked one. Ended up driving all the way thru the middle and out the other side of Denver & up into the mountains before we were positive we were going the wrong way! Turns out if we'd turned the other way, it was only about a mile up the road!!!
