Forgive my typos

Uh oh.

SC, I hope you weren't offended by my "flasklight" comment. I hope you know I meant no harm.

And I'm sure you know that some of the most intelligent people in the world have been dyslexic, including Albert Einstein.

Any way you look at it, backwards or forwards, you're still alright with me!

Thanks, I wasn't offended about the flasklight thing.

I just wanted to explain why I do those things. I don't want yall to think I'm a drunk trying to type. I talk about drinking but I don't do it as much as it seems. I like to think I'm a good person, I just don't see things the way other people do.

Thanks everybody for understanding.

Unsolicited advice:

Your obviously a good person. Anyone who can't tell that from your posts
is a moron. We all have things that we are sensitive about, for you that's
dyxlexia. I have very shaky hands and I used to get really embarassed
about it. People thought it was from drinking and used to say stupid things.

As we get older we learn to say "F" it. If they have a problem with it then
it's their problem, not mine.

In defense of the people that referenced the moonshine well that is because
they view you as someone who can handle that type of sarcasm. I view you
that way also but I have also read posts where it's obvious your tired of shine
references. That darn shine post caused such an uproar it will take a little
while for folks to forget it. Take it as a compliment and let it roll off your back.

P.S. I have rosemary potatos in the oven.

What's there to forgive? Most of us dont even have an excuse for our typos, just bad typing! My cousin was dyslexic so I know some of the struggles she had. You are a valued part of this group so, nope, not a thing to forgive!

I understand completely. My oldest daughter has been diagnosed with dyslexia.

I'm thrilled that 'they' can diagnose it as it is something that can be helped with certain training, especially if it's diagnosed when someone is young.

Keep on typing and we love hearing your input. Don't worry about your spelling .... we'll figure it out! (It's not been bad anyway.)

I commend you on being brave enough to speak up. You must know and trust that most people do care about others here and try to accept them as they are. Typo's and all.

I always enjoy reading your posts. Checked out your website and think you have a good thing going.

My boy, who will turn 15 on Tuesday has struggled for years. Reading, writing and spelling. I know as his mother that he has other qualities that are just as important and that he will be just fine. It is just getting through school. I really need to get him tested. School wise though, I am not sure it would make a difference. He does have an I.E.P, so that helps.

It is tough seeing your kids struggle and hate school. Trying to hide his disability and trying to prove himself. Acting all tough to hide it all. Do you have any advise for me for my boy? I would appeciate it.
